Hello Bob read the byway's bacon boobs and beer story there are some good lanes from os119 in that story remember to check the status of the lanes before you drive them as they may have been reclassified since this story was put on the web site.
cheers Les.

Thankyou for your comments I have got a Dicovery at present(which I am now selling,I want a series motor).Depending how serious you want to take your off roading has a great bearing on which tyres to have,Ihave a set of mud terrain on the Discovery which give a good ride on tarmac and are ideal for green laning.
Cheers LES.

Hi les like your site i have been reading back copys of lro and been driving a good few of the lanes u mention i live in leeds so yorkshire and derbyshire lanes have been of particular intrest. But i am planning a north to south wales adventure for the spring and have been using grid ref's from lro one or 2 dont add up i cant see the diffinative route for strat florida i have the start and finsh co~ordinates but the trial in between seems un clear. Have you driven sarn helen in south wales if so a little in site from you would be great. i would like to be able to have a chat with you about the welsh lanes> if you can spare the time my e mail is Geoffrey.wallis2@ntlworld.com

Just spent a very pleasent half hour exploring your site. In fact, I think I've just been inspired to forget mowing the lawn today and I'll go and tick off a few of the local green lanes instead.
Cheers
Chris

Les,
Must say I am impressed with the site, never thought you would get out from under the bonnet long enough to launch it, or is it a spinoff from your new found publishing skills, either way well done mate.
